About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at an established Golf Club/Venue & Restaurant in Centurion. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless food preparation, management, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Food preparation
- Stock control
- Setting up food stations
- Food quality control
- Coordinating with the head chef to manage a busy kitchen operation
- Leading other cooks in a team environment
- Assisting with events and functions that require different types of food delivery
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in both chef and kitchen management roles
- Strong background in a la carte restaurant environments
