About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled Registered Architect to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng. As a reputable health and safety consultancy firm, we prioritize incorporating safety considerations into all aspects of our projects. Our objective is to provide guidance and support to clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring complete compliance with health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to develop designs prioritizing safety and compliance with SANS building codes and Construction regulations.
  • Conduct thorough site analysis to identify potential safety hazards and risks, proposing solutions to mitigate them.
  • Review architectural plans and specifications to ensure they meet safety standards and guidelines.
  • Work closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate safety features seamlessly into design concepts during Stage 1 of the project stages.
  • Assist with creating evacuation diagrams to ensure clear and effective emergency procedures.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess existing building conditions and identify safety concerns or opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture.
  • Be a Registered Architect with relevant professional licensing in South Africa.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design, with a particular focus on safety.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
  • Possess a strong understanding of SANS building codes, Construction Regulations, and Safety Standards.
