About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and quality-focused individual to join our team as a Quality Controller in our furniture manufacturing facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect furniture pieces at various stages of production and prior to dispatch
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications
- Ensure materials and workmanship meet company and client quality standards
- Record, report, and follow up on quality issues with the production team
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Previous QC or furniture industry experience will be an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Quality-oriented mindset
- Own reliable transport
Salary & Benefits
R15 000 – R18 000 Negotiable based on experience
