About the Role

As a Senior Financial Accountant at Smith Garb, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through informed financial decision-making. You will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance to the organization and ensuring that our financial reporting is accurate, timely, and of high quality.

Key Responsibilities

Own and unpack income & expenses (and explain the “why” behind the numbers)
Pull together sharp, meaningful monthly reports & board packs
Manage borrowings + finance costs — accurately and on time
Lead a small team and keep standards high
Step into audits, budgets, and the odd project when needed
Fix what’s messy and improve what’s slow

Requirements

CA(SA) essential
~4+ years commercial experience
Strong Excel (you know your way around pivots — macros = bonus)
SAP helps, but not a dealbreaker
Confidence to engage, influence and challenge when needed
