Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a technically strong Technical Sales Engineer – Automation (PLC & VSD) to join our team in Durban North. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLCs and VSDs, with the ability to engage with clients on both technical and commercial levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients on technical and commercial levels
- Proven experience in technical sales within automation or electrical environments
- Strong exposure to PLCs and VSDs
- Ability to drive new business development within industrial and manufacturing sectors
Requirements
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics (preferred)
- OR Trade qualification (Electrician / Instrumentation Technician)
- OR relevant automation certifications (PLC, VSD, Siemens, ABB, etc.)
- Proven experience in technical sales within automation or electrical environments
- Strong exposure to PLCs and VSDs
- Ability to engage with engineers, technicians, and plant management
Qualifications
