About the Role
We are seeking two experienced professionals to join our team as Senior Events Manager and Events Co-Ordinator at our office in Bryanston, Johannesburg. As a key member of our small high-achieving team, you will be required to manage multiple projects simultaneously and contribute to a wide range of events including product launches, conferences, exhibitions and team-building initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day event logistics from concept to delivery.
- Break down complex projects into detailed task lists, timelines and workflows.
- Source, negotiate with and manage local suppliers and venues.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage budgets, invoicing and documentation for all event projects.
- Attend client meetings and virtual calls – take clear actions and follow-ups.
- Respond to client requests with clarity, professionalism and urgency.
- Support senior team members in preparing pitches, presentations and reports.
Requirements
- Strong project management skills you can break big ideas into small tasks
- Clear written and verbal communication, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Comfortable managing multiple simultaneous projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Microsoft Office and budgeting skills
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
Qualifications
- Events Co-Ordinator: 3 years of experience in the events industry
- Senior Events Manager: 10+ years of experience in the events industry
- Proven experience within one or more of the following sectors is essential:
- Corporate event management
- Conference and congress management
- Incentive travel programmes
- Group travel operations
