About the Role
This is a remote position for an IT Administrator to provide day-to-day technical support across MacMillan Mzansi Accountancy’s practice. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a small professional services environment without a dedicated server infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary help desk for all staff experiencing technical difficulties with hardware, software, or peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve laptop, desktop, printer, scanner, and monitor issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and update software applications used by the practice (e.g., accounting software, Microsoft Office 365, PDF tools, email clients).
- Set up new workstations, user profiles, and email accounts for onboarding staff.
- Assist staff with password resets, account access issues, and software navigation queries.
- Provide basic end-user training on software tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong technical skills in hardware, software, and networking.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
