About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a dynamic manufacturing company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and supporting the overall accounting functions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.
- Support payroll processing and reporting duties.
- Maintain an orderly filing system and assist in compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparations as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax reporting is a plus.
