About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Liaison Officer & Company Secretary to join our team in Swellendam. The successful candidate will provide executive support to the Managing Director, facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, and oversee company secretarial duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive support to the Managing Director, including calendar management, reporting, presentations, and coordination of strategic initiatives
  • Act as liaison between the MD, senior management, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and manage board, management, and operational meetings, including agendas, minutes, and board packs
  • Support operational efficiencies through reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, communications, and corporate hospitality standards
  • Oversee company secretarial duties, including shareholder records, statutory compliance, CIPC filings, and AGM coordination
  • Administer trust and governance requirements in line with regulatory standards
  • Support corporate social responsibility initiatives and donation processes
  • Provide financial and analytical support to inform executive decision-making
  • Contribute to strategic planning and ensure effective implementation of governance and operational processes

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)) qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in high-level stakeholder liaison with external and internal partners
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Forecasting and Prediction, Pivot Tables, VBA, and Macros
