About the Role

The Chief Liaison Officer & Company Secretary will provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director, ensuring seamless operations and effective stakeholder management. This role requires a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in liaison with external and internal partners, as well as advanced Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive support to the Managing Director, including calendar management, reporting, presentations, and coordination of strategic initiatives
  • Act as liaison between the MD, senior management, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and manage board, management, and operational meetings, including agendas, minutes, and board packs
  • Support operational efficiencies through reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, communications, and corporate hospitality standards
  • Oversee company secretarial duties, including shareholder records, statutory compliance, CIPC filings, and AGM coordination
  • Administer trust and governance requirements in line with regulatory standards
  • Support corporate social responsibility initiatives and donation processes
  • Provide financial and analytical support to inform executive decision-making
  • Contribute to strategic planning and ensure effective implementation of governance and operational processes

Requirements

Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)) with minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in a similar role.

Qualifications

Formal education/certification as Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)).
