About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Manager to join our luxury property group in Johannesburg. As a strategic and hands-on leader, you will drive brand growth, lead generation, and revenue-focused marketing across multiple channels. This senior role requires a strong balance between planning and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual marketing strategies aligned with business goals
• Translate strategy into detailed quarterly and monthly marketing plans
• Define KPIs, objectives, timelines, and budgets for all campaigns
• Ensure alignment of marketing strategy across all departments
• Manage digital and traditional marketing channels (social media, email, website, print, PR, direct mail)
• Oversee content calendars and production schedules
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms
• Collaborate with agencies, freelancers, and creative partners
• Act as brand guardian ensuring correct application of brand guidelines
• Review and approve all marketing materials
• Conduct regular brand audits and quality control checks
• Provide brand training and guidance to internal teams
• Develop and execute lead generation strategies focused on direct bookings
• Manage SEO, SEM, paid social, display advertising, and email campaigns
• Optimise conversion rates and lead nurturing programmes

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality, travel, or luxury property sectors advantageous
• Proven track record in digital & traditional marketing
• Strong experience in lead generation and revenue-focused marketing
• Knowledge of SEO, SEM, paid social, email marketing, PR, and print media
• Experience with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
