Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our client’s Private Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full financial management of reserve operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Full financial management of reserve operations
Budgeting, forecasting & cash flow management
Monthly management accounts & financial reporting
Expenditure control and budget monitoring
Banking, payments & working capital management
Statutory compliance (VAT, tax, COIDA, etc.)
Coordinate annual audits & liaise with external auditors
Board / trustee / donor reporting
Oversee payroll reconciliations (where applicable)
Manage and develop finance team

Requirements

BCom / BCompt or equivalent qualification
CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or SAIPA (advantage)
Minimum 5 years finance experience
At least 2 years in a management role
Strong budgeting, reporting & audit experience
Advanced Excel & accounting systems skills
Strong knowledge of internal controls & compliance

Qualifications

Formal education/certifications: BCom / BCompt or equivalent qualification; CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or SAIPA (advantage)

Salary & Benefits

R50 000 – R75 000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications
