Hire Resolve`s client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join their team in the foam manufacturing industry in the Western Cape. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all production activities to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
Monitor production processes and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Manage and optimize production budgets, resources, and staffing levels to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure seamless production and delivery processes.
Train, mentor, and supervise production staff to ensure their ongoing development and performance.
Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance overall production performance.
Monitor and analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term production strategies and goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry, in chemical/foam manufacturing.
Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and management.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
Proficient in MS Office and production management software.
