Duties:
Manage all aspects of the farm, including orchards, gardens, vegetables, animals, game, maintenance, and business operations. Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring effective delegation, support, and performance management. Develop and implement production plans to optimise yield and quality. Oversee and manage crop production tasks, including irrigation, fertilisation, pest control, and harvesting. Ensure compliance with industry standards and drive cost efficiency without compromising quality or guest experience. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for the farming division. Technical Knowledge: Excellent understanding of farming with nature, permaculture, and organic farming principles. Open to innovation and evolving farming practices; passionate about plants. Mechanically inclined, with knowledge of tractors, equipment, and general machinery. Ability to manage small improvement projects on the farm. Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets.
