Position Overview
Our client is urgently seeking a skilled Lamination Operator to join our dynamic production team in Alberton. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of our laminator machine, ensuring all production and quality control standards are met. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive, safety-conscious, and detail-driven individual with solid machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate solvent-based, solvent-free, and mono-component laminator machines

Setup the laminator in accordance with operational procedures

Ensure work orders are followed and documented, including quality control requirements

Collect correct materials from stores and perform line clearance on completion of orders

Conduct regular safety checks and maintain high housekeeping standards in the production area

Perform quality control inspections and escalate deviations to management
-
Assist as relief machine operator across both production plants when needed

Ensure minimum material waste and cost-effective operations

Maintain and clean laminator equipment and auxiliary machines
