About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Developer to join our team in Alberton, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth in the used storage equipment market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the used storage equipment market
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and recommend suitable storage solutions
- Assist with any buybacks of existing storage equipment
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, preferably in industrial equipment, warehousing, or related fields. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of storage equipment is advantageous. Ideally should be able to read technical drawings. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within Gauteng and surrounding areas.
