About the Role
Diagnostic Radiological Services Inc is seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our dynamic team in Alberton. As a Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing superior diagnostic and interventional services to our patients. You will work closely with our team to ensure accurate, timely patient diagnoses and contribute to a fast-paced, evolving environment where your skills are valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing ultrasounds in various specialties (abdominal and pelvic, musculoskeletal, small parts, vascular, cranial/neonatal/paediatric, 1st trimester pregnancy)
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure accurate patient diagnoses
- Managing patient care with compassion and professionalism, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit
- Contributing to a fast-paced environment where your skills are continuously honed
Requirements
Formal Ultrasound qualification
HPCSA Registration
Excellent patient care and passion for ultrasound
Ability to work Monday – Friday 7h30 – 4h30 pm, 8h00 – 17h00 pm & 9h00 – 18h00 pm plus one Saturday morning every month from 8h00 – 13h00 (with an option of ½ off / payment for these hours)
Flexibility regarding working hours when needed
Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport

Overtime Available
Saturday Afternoon: 6-hour shift
