About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Blockman to join our team in Barberton, Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of proven experience in a retail butchery or supermarket environment and be confident in meat preparation, customer service, and maintaining high food-safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Cutting, deboning, trimming, and preparing meat according to required specifications
• Operating butchery equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensuring correct portioning, packaging, and labelling
• Maintaining hygiene, safety, and quality standards at all times
• Managing stock rotation and minimizing wastage

Requirements

• 4-6 years experience as a Blockman in a butchery or retail environment
• Grade 10-12 Blockman/Butchery Skills Certificate from accredited training providers
