About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a warm, organised and highly guest-focused Guest Relations Officer specialising in group coordination, for a well-established luxury safari lodge set within the iconic Waterberg wilderness, Limpopo. This is a dedicated group-facing role where you will be the primary point of contact for group guests from the moment they arrive at the airport to the moment they depart.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for all group guests throughout their stay
- Coordinate and manage all group logistics from airport arrival through to departure, including transfers
- Welcome and escort groups, overseeing check-in, room allocations and group briefings
- Anticipate group needs and communicate proactively with all relevant lodge departments
- Coordinate group activity schedules, dining arrangements and special requests
- Handle group queries, concerns and service recovery professionally and efficiently
- Maintain accurate group guest profiles, preferences and feedback records
- Liaise closely with reservations, F&B, housekeeping and guiding teams to ensure smooth group operations
Requirements
Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in a guest relations, hosting or front office role within a luxury lodge or hotel environment. Proven experience managing or coordinating groups advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills with a warm, professional and proactive hosting style. Strong organisational and logistical coordination ability. Calm under pressure with sound problem-solving skills.
