About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head Guide to join our team in the Waterberg region. As a key member of our guiding team, you will be responsible for leading guided tours and managing a team of guides. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for guiding, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead guided tours in Big 5 reserves and luxury 5-star lodges
- Manage and supervise a team of guides
- Develop and implement tour itineraries and plans
- Ensure client safety and satisfaction
- Maintain high standards of guiding practices and professionalism
Requirements
- Minimum FGASA Level 2 (NQF 4) or equivalent guiding qualification
- Valid Trails Guide qualification
- Proven experience as a Head Guide or Safari Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience guiding in Big 5 reserves and luxury 5-star lodges
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
- Current Wilderness First Aid certification
- Valid Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH) qualification
- SAPS business competency for rifle use
