Job Summary

Our client is urgently looking to employ a Service Advisor in Bela-Bela. Job Purpose: To act as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing vehicle service needs, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and maintaining strong communication throughout the process. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and create a welcoming environment in the service department Schedule and confirm service appointments Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle issues accurately Advise customers on required or recommended services, costs, and timelines Prepare job cards and communicate with workshop technicians to clarify vehicle problems Provide updates to customers during the service process Review work orders and invoices with customers before vehicle handover Manage warranty claims and documentation when applicable Upsell additional services and products where appropriate Maintain accurate records and service histories Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction post-service Maintain a clean and professional reception area Key Skills & Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities Time management and organizational skills Technical knowledge of vehicles (basic understanding preferred) Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Sales-driven mindset for upselling services Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 / Matric (minimum) Automotive industry experience as a Service Advisor (2–5 years preferred) Working knowledge of DMS software (e.g., Kerridge, Evolve, BSI, Automate) Valid driver’s license
