Well-established accounting and advisory firm providing bookkeeping, tax, compliance, payroll, and advisory solutions to a wide client base seek a SAIPA qualified Accountant to join their team. Opportunity to grow your technical skills across multiple disciplines including accounting, taxation, CIPC compliance, and financial reporting Be part of a collaborative team that values learning, support, and professional development What you will be doing: Handle bookkeeping up to trial balance, including reconciliations, journals, VAT, and management accounts Administer payroll, including processing, EMP201/EMP501 submissions, UIF, WCA/RMA/FEM returns Prepare annual financial statements (compilations/reviews, no audits) Manage tax compliance for individuals, companies, and trusts, including submissions and SARS correspondence Deliver CIPC and company secretarial services, including director/member changes, share transactions, annual returns, and registers Maintain client FICA compliance Support clients with budgets, cashflows, invoicing, payments, and other administrative tasks Train and assist junior staff while managing your own client portfolio What we are looking for: Solid bookkeeping and accounting experience, up to trial balance Experience in payroll, tax compliance, and CIPC/secretarial work Xero Certification, maintained annually FICA knowledge, maintained annually Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks Team player with willingness to learn and grow Benefits and unique aspects: Exposure to a wide variety of accounting, tax, and compliance work Supportive and collaborative work culture Opportunities for training and professional development Please note if you haven’t heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
