About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to drive shift outcomes and manage expenditures within budget in our Bellville warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive shift outcomes to meet contractual service levels
- Manage expenditures within budget; investigate and correct overruns
- Enforce procedural compliance and staff training
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and hold staff accountable
- Conduct staff meetings, discipline, and training
- Resolve operational and staff issues effectively
Requirements
- Relevant Tertiary Degree (Honours in Business / Supply Chain preferred)
- 35 years of experience in Warehousing, Distribution, Transport, FMCG, or QRS Management
- Strong computer literacy: MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Advanced WMS and GP system skills
