About the Role
WMS Secure is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Trucking Workshop Foreman to manage daily workshop operations, supervise mechanics and assistants, and ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving productivity, safety, quality control, and fleet uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily workshop operations and job allocation
- Supervise mechanics, assistant mechanics, and apprentices
- Ensure repairs and servicing meet manufacturer and legal standards
- Provide technical support and guidance on complex repairs and diagnostics
- Conduct final quality inspections on completed work
Requirements
- Qualified Diesel / Truck Mechanic (Red Seal preferred)
- Proven experience in a heavy-duty truck workshop supervisory role
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding expertise
- Knowledge of air brake systems and heavy vehicle compliance
- Valid drivers licence (Code C or EC preferred)

- Completed Matric
- Valid Red Seal certification
