Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control stockpile levels to ensure optimal availability and minimal loss
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Track incoming and outgoing materials and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and procurement teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Generate reports on stockpile status, usage trends, and variances
- Investigate and resolve inventory issues or irregularities
- Implement and improve stock control procedures and systems
Requirements
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of experience in stockpile management, inventory control, or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations (especially in mining or bulk materials environments)
