The lodge is searching for a passionate Wildlife Coordinator to join their Reserve Team. This role is ideal for someone dedicated to rewilding, biodiversity monitoring and driving long-term conservation strategies. This position is open to a single candidate or a couple, provided the partner is able to fill a Front of House role. ? What the role involves: Implementing and driving conservation strategies across the reserve Conducting biodiversity assessments and monitoring wildlife populations Managing conservation data, compiling reports and supporting long-term planning Raising awareness around sustainability and eco-friendly practices Leading, mentoring and motivating conservation staff Overseeing re-wilding projects and animal habituation General maintenance involvement where needed Whats needed: A relevant degree in Wildlife Conservation or a similar field Proven experience in conservation, game reserve management, breeding and hunting Strong project management and reporting abilities Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement Solid knowledge of local flora, fauna and regional conservation challenges FGASA is an advantage Telemetry and tracking experience are beneficial Dangerous Game behaviour knowledge Strong analytical and scientific wildlife management mindset Good maintenance knowledge ?
