About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Deli Manager to join their butchery team in Botshabelo. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, have strong leadership skills, and a solid understanding of meat cuts, food safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily deli operations
- Ensure the highest standards of product quality
- Lead a team to deliver excellent service to customers
- Train, motivate, and supervise staff
- Order supplies and manage relationships with suppliers
- Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory management
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transport
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Understanding of different meat cuts
- Ability to split carcasses
- Experience working in a butchery (advantageous)
