About the Role
Our client in the Milling & Animal Feed sector is seeking an experienced Farm Foreman to join their Mixed Farming operation in Bloemfontein, Free State. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the efficient management of the farm.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day operational management
- Cattle herd management
- Maize & pasture cultivation under irrigation
- General farm equipment maintenance
- Fire management & prevention
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
- 5 years experience in day-to-day operational management
- Experience in cattle herd management
- Knowledge of maize & pasture cultivation under irrigation
- Ability to perform general farm equipment maintenance
- Experience with fire management and prevention
- Solid mechanical background
- Valid drivers license
- Staff management experience
- Hands-on experience with basic farm maintenance
