About the Role
Birthmark Group (pty) ltd is seeking a skilled Brits: Fuel dispenser and pump technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of fuel storage tank and dispensing systems at retail gas stations and commercial fueling facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform startup, on-site repair, and maintenance of fuel storage tank and dispensing systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with system equipment, including underground tanks, aboveground tanks, point of sale systems, card systems, dispensers, tank monitors, submersible pumps, piping, and other petroleum equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to prevent system failures and ensure optimal performance
Requirements
- Relevant technical experience in fuel dispenser and pump technology
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Qualifications
- Formal qualifications in a relevant technical field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering)
