About the Role
A Timeshare Management Company based in Bryanston is seeking an experienced and skilled Administrator/Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s day-to-day finance operations, with a focus on accurate financial record-keeping and effective control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day finance operations and process all invoices, credit notes, and supplier statements accurately
- Ensure that control systems are operating effectively within agreed parameters
- Process monthly journals via reports provided by Financial Accountant
- Manage purchases against budgets and reconcile supplier statements with company records
- Liaise with creditors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and identify issues in a timely manner
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Math A or formal qualification will be an advantage
- At least 5 years of previous Creditors/Finance experience at large hotel/lodge, preferably within the share block/timeshare industry
- Proficient on Sage One Accounting and Advanced Excel
- Good numeric and administrative skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12 with Math A or formal qualification (if applicable)
- Relevant work experience in finance or a related field
