Job Summary

The successful individual will work as an integral member of theteam, focusing on the financial function of the business. The primarily duties will be financial reporting, preparing monthly flash consolidation, and quarterly full pack. Manage and supporting the treasury functions along with VAT and Tax. The role will also require working on the finance function of various subsidiaries and affiliated companies, as well as a key focus on stakeholder reporting. Some key traits to be successful in the team: A proven passion and desire to learn. Exceptional understanding of the fundamentals of accounting. Understanding basic asset management terminology and concepts. Very strong planning, organisation and coordination ability. Ability to work and function in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines. Ability to manage and handle multiple priorities. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). Clear focus on accuracy and attention to detail. A flexible and adaptable nature. Well-presented and professional. Strong interpersonal skills. Education & Qualifications Postgraduate qualification in accounting or relevant qualification Preference for someone registered with a professional accounting body (SAICA, CIMA, SAIPA) or more experience Proficiency in Xero will be preferred High proficiency in the Microsoft suite (in particular Excel) Ability to showcase taking ownership and accountability Overall positive attitude, curious mind and willingness to put up their hand to help the team Relevant experience 2 5 years experience working within similar position with management experience
