About the Role

The Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking a Chargehand with experience in breakdown management of earthmoving equipment in an underground mining environment to join our team in Burgersfort. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure the efficient operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Breakdown management of earthmoving equipment in an underground mining environment
• Maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems
• Provision of technical support and guidance to operators and other personnel
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards

Requirements

• Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate
• Completion of Apprenticeship
• Possession of a recognized appropriate Trade Test Certificate (Sec 13 and/or 26)
• At least 2 years experience in the breakdown management of earthmoving equipment in an underground mining environment
• At least 3 years experience as an Electrician or Diesel Mechanic in a TMM Mechanized underground mining environment
