Burgersfort: Maintenance Technician – Burgersford

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Burgersfort, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our packhouse facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems
• Ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations
• Manage maintenance budgets and prioritize work accordingly
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve overall efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

Requirements

• Relevant qualification as Millwright or Electrician
• Minimum 3 years experience as Maintenance Technician in packhouse environment
• Experience and knowledge of maintenance procedure and systems (electrical and mechanical)
• Food Health and Safety experience
• Ability to work with a budget for maintenance and repairs
