Burgersfort: Maintenance Technician – Burgersford

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Burgersfort, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in a packhouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment
• Conduct repairs and replacements of parts as needed
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with food health and safety standards
• Manage maintenance budgets and prioritize spending
• Utilize MS Office software for administrative tasks

Requirements

• Relevant qualification as Millwright or Electrician
• Minimum 3 years experience as Maintenance Technician in packhouse environment
• Experience and knowledge of maintenance procedure and systems to be maintained (electrical and mechanical)
• Food Health and Safety experience
• Experience with working with a budget for maintenance and repairs
