About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Burgersfort, with a strong background in the mining environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mining equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient operation of facilities
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed

Requirements

• Completed Apprenticeship in Fitting
• Recognized Trade Test Certificate (Section 13 and/or 26)
• At least 2 years of experience in the mining environment
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license

Qualifications

• Formal education or equivalent qualifications in Fitting or a related field
