Job Title: Audit Senior
Location: Cape Town
Qualifications:
– Completed SAICA articles
– Relevant bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– Fully Proficient in English & Afrikaans (Read, Write, Speak, Understand)
Experience:
– At least 3 years of experience working in the audit industry
– Experience managing and leading audit engagements
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
– Experience working with clients in various industries
Responsibilities:
– Leading audit engagements from planning to completion
– Coordinating with clients and team members to ensure timely completion of audits
– Reviewing workpapers and financial statements prepared by audit staff
– Identifying and communicating audit findings to clients
– Providing recommendations for improving clients’ internal controls and financial reporting processes
– Staying current on industry trends and changes in auditing standards
Skills:
– Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
– Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
– Detail-oriented and organized
