Job Description: Process/post invoices and credit notes Reconciliation of creditors accounts and resolving queries Paying creditors on time (according to payment terms) Confirmation of Intercompany balances Receive and verify invoices and all relevant documentation to process payments for creditors Follow up on all missing documentation Ensure that payments have been authorized according to the required financial procedures Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions according to the relevant accounting system for payment authorization Validate, approve and post invoices Prepare vendor reconciliations Resolve all vendor queries Prepare the paperwork/backup documents for payment run Ensure suppliers are paid on pre-determined payment terms Monitor vendor accounts to ensure that payments are up to date Forward proof of payments to suppliers when required Maintain a current and accurate filing system for the creditors function Assist with general administration and financial duties Confirm the Intercompany balances Make sure that the vendor age analysis has no queries (especially no debit or old outstanding balances) Verify B-BBEE status with vendors Accurately capture company credit card transactions within the correct period Purchase order maintenance Open receipt maintenance Skills & Experience: Minimum 3-4 years experience working in a high volume environment FMCG or Retail experience Ability to handle High volumes and Fast paced environment Qualification: Matric A Finance qualification will be beneficial Contact BRITNEY HATTINGH on
