About the Role
The Clinical & Practice Coordinator is a vital support role in our practice, combining hands-on patient care coordination with oversight of day-to-day operations. This position requires a strong nursing background and experience in clinical or practice environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track patient results (bloods, scans, ECGs)
- Ensure all documentation is complete and ready ahead of consultations
- Prepare, update, and maintain accurate patient files
- Accompany and assist the doctor during hospital rounds
- Capture and update patient notes and clinical information in files
- Coordinate appointments and manage patient flow
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice
- Provide guidance and support to the secretary
- Maintain structured and up-to-date filing systems
- Act as liaison between doctor, hospital, and administrative staff
Requirements
- Nursing background (essential)
- Previous experience in a clinical or practice environment
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care processes
- Experience in a supervisory or coordination role (advantageous)
- Experience with GoodX or similar systems (advantageous)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail in maintaining patient records
