Cape Town City Centre: Collections Strategy Manager

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of advanced collections and recovery strategies. Build, test, and optimise models across the collections lifecycle. Analyse portfolio performance and identify actionable insights for continuous improvement. Partner with BI teams to design dashboards and drive data-led decision-making. Use champion/challenger testing to refine portfolio strategies. Mentor and guide operations to embed data-driven methods into daily processes. Job Experience and Skills Required: Honours Degree or equivalent (BCom, BSc, or similar) with majors in Maths, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Actuarial Science. Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar analytical or strategic collections role. Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, R, AWS, and advanced Excel. Proven experience in designing and optimising collections and recovery campaigns. Background in financial services, banking, or lending is advantageous.
