About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, specializing in rubber products and commercial tyres for the logistics and passenger buses industry. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building long-term relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively sell tires, align wheels, and provide balancing services to customers.
- Identify customer needs, provide expert product recommendations, and prepare accurate quotes and invoices.
- Advise customers on appropriate tyre choices based on vehicle specifications, load requirements, and driving conditions.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain a database of clients, follow up on quotes, and build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Monitor stock levels, check for new orders, and ensure the showroom or sales area is clean and tidy.
- Handle the end-to-end sales process, including ordering, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new tire technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively promote products.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience working within the automotive industry (Wheels/Tyres)
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans
- Proficient in MS Office
- Valid Drivers License
