About the Role
FROGG Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our client’s team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, providing strategic recommendations to senior management, and leading a team of finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 8 staff members within the finance team reporting to the CFO
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals working on SAP
- Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations
- Prepare detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements
- Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management
- Maintain effective internal controls and governance processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- A CA(SA) Qualification is an added Advantage
- 7 years plus of experience as a Financial Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis
- Excellent experience in using Excel and SAP
