About the Role
Isilumko Staffing is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to load, unload, move, and store goods within the warehouse or site.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload stock
- Load and offload trucks and containers
- Stack and store products in designated warehouse locations
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any defects
- Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage
- Adhere to health and safety rules at all times
- Assist with stock counts and general warehouse duties when required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) is compulsory
- Valid Forklift Operator Licence
- Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial environment
- Must reside in the following catchment areas only:
- Delft
- Mfuleni
- Kraaifontein
- Bellville
- Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays if required
- Physically fit and safety conscious
