We have an exciting opportunity for a Front of House Coordinator to join an innovative and forward-thinking FMCG company Role Overview As the Front of House Coordinator, you will be the face and voice of the company, embodying professionalism, focus, responsibility, and passion. You will be responsible for maintaining an energetic and welcoming reception area while ensuring that all office operations run smoothly and efficiently. The role demands a blend of reception, office management, and administrative support, all while maintaining a positive and engaging work environment. Key Responsibilities Reception & Office Management Ensure a positive, energetic, and professional greeting for all visitors and guests. Handle all incoming calls in a timely manner, directing them appropriately. Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception area at all times. Coordinate courier services, mail distribution, and ensure efficient management of office supplies. Organize and maintain office contact lists and birthdays. Provide support to the HR team with employee inductions and assist with staff functions. Facility Management & Vendor Coordination Oversee the management of office facilities, ensuring that the office is always stocked and well-maintained. Collaborate with service providers for cleaning, maintenance, and office supplies, ensuring 100% compliance with contracts. Organize and manage office security, branding, and space utilization. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance Ensure the office complies with health and safety regulations, addressing any risks promptly. Oversee monthly health and safety checks, ensuring that the office environment is always in top shape. Employee Support & Office Spirit Foster a positive office culture by organizing social events such as after-work drinks and team-building activities. Serve as a liaison between the regional office and central management to ensure smooth operations. Provide regular feedback on office-related matters to the management team. Administrative Support Assist with travel arrangements, internal staff functions, and general office administration. Maintain office documentation and manage expense and invoice processes. Support internal communication efforts through various channels and ensure all staff are up-to-date with important information. Experience & Skills Proficiency in MS Office (email, spreadsheets, databases). Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. At least 2 years of experience in Front of House, office administration, or management. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Creative problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. A valid driver’s license (Code 08). Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.
