About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our distribution centre, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving (Packed Cartons) – Load and offload full cartons as instructed
- Distribution Lines (Picking Support) – Prepare empty cartons for picking lines
- Despatch (Sealed and Allocated Cartons) – Verify carton ID labels against SCS labels for accuracy
- General Warehouse Tasks – Move pallets to designated locations, maintain high levels of accuracy, keep work areas clean and organised
Requirements
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Service-oriented mindset
- Physically fit and able to lift cartons up to 25kg
- Good eyesight to accurately read SKUs
Qualifications
- Grade 10 preferred
