About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, supporting the design and engineering of solar PV systems for commercial and utility-scale projects. As a key member of our team, you will assist with site assessments, feasibility studies, and system layouts, providing technical support during installation, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the design and engineering of solar PV systems (commercial & utility-scale)
Support site assessments, feasibility studies, and system layouts
Provide engineering support during installation, commissioning, and handover
Liaise with project teams, contractors, and suppliers
Travel to project sites in Zambia as required

Requirements

BEng / BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or similar
02 years experience in solar PV or renewable energy (internship experience welcome)
Basic understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and grid connections
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Willingness to travel internationally (valid passport required)

Qualifications

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or similar
