About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Junior Front-of-House Manageress to join our team at a well-established, family-owned wine estate in the Durbanville Wine Valley. As a key member of our front-of-house operations, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent guest service, managing daily operations, and supporting staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of daily front-of-house operations
  • Supervise and support front-of-house staff during service
  • Ensure excellent guest service and maintain service standards
  • Assist with bar control and stock oversight
  • Manage reservations and guest enquiries
  • Handle emails, telephone enquiries, and basic administration
  • Assist with social media updates where required
  • Support management with general operational tasks

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to supervise staff and assist with operational oversight
  • Competent with basic administration (reservations, emails, telephone handling)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
