About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our insurance company’s efforts in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company strategy, growing the network, and leading the regional team to achieve business plan targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Head of Sales with developing and implementing company strategy
- Grow company network throughout the destination region
- Lead the company regional team in accordance with Legitimate Leadership philosophy (principles of care and growth), as well as all other aspects of leadership and management applicable to leading a team in the company
- Develop and ensure that business exceeds annual business plan targets
- Ensure appropriate succession planning within the company team
- Manage resources, including attracting, hiring, and retaining personnel
- Research and implement new initiatives to drive revenue, lower operating costs while maintaining quality service
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years experience in a similar sales leadership role
- Knowledge of vehicle warranties, service plans, and scratch and dents
- Strong leadership skills with evidence of prior leadership ability
- Strong sales acumen
- Extensive experience in managing and engaging with Executives, Senior Managers, Managers, and staff
