About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the full lifecycle of HVAC projects in Cape Town City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical drawings, installation methods, and system commissioning, as well as experience working with leading HVAC brands.

Key Responsibilities

Manage projects from planning to completion
Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate site activities, resources, materials, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
Prepare, track, and manage project budgets, including costing reports and forecasts
Assist with claims, pricing variations, and identifying commercial risks
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards
Communicate with clients and consultants for inspections, approvals, and project commissioning
Provide regular updates on project progress, costs, and potential risks

Requirements

Over 5 years of experience in delivering HVAC projects
Solid understanding of mechanical drawings, installation methods, and system commissioning
Knowledge of SANS regulations, OEM standards, and HVAC installation best practices
Experience working with leading HVAC brands
Proficient with Excel, MS Project, or other project tracking and management tools

Qualifications

Trade qualification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management
