Cape Town City Centre: Project Manager

Job Description: Manage the full lifecycle of HVAC projects, with a focus on VRV, VRF, and DX systems Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables Coordinate site activities, resources, materials, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution Prepare, track, and manage project budgets, including costing reports and forecasts Assist with claims, pricing variations, and identifying commercial risks Work closely with the Head of Projects to achieve profitability targets Accurately read and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, and technical designs Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards Communicate with clients and consultants for inspections, approvals, and project commissioning Provide regular updates on project progress, costs, and potential risks Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including site instructions and QA checklists Lead project meetings and ensure all close-out documentation is completed and submitted Skills and Experience: Over 5 years experience in delivering HVAC projects Solid understanding of mechanical drawings, installation methods, and system commissioning Knowledge of SANS regulations, OEM standards, and HVAC installation best practices Experience working with leading HVAC brands Proficient with Excel, MS Project, or other project tracking and management tools Qualifications: Trade qualification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management.
