About the Role

The Property and Facilities Lead is a key position within our organization, responsible for managing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties in Cape Town City Centre. We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee daily operations, manage lease renewals, and ensure compliance with building systems and maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage lease renewals and conduct rental negotiations
  • Assign, track, and oversee maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution
  • Supervise daily operations of Property & Facility Coordinators, maintenance staff, and cleaning teams
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to required standards
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of work delivered by service providers and internal teams

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in property maintenance or a related role
  • Solid understanding of building systems, maintenance processes, and compliance standards
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in property management systems and relevant software tools
