Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Incoming Material Inspection: Inspect and approve incoming packaging materials such as pouches, cartridges, bottles, caps, and boxes to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications. Inline Production Process and QC Audits: Conduct regular inline audits of the production process, ensuring compliance with quality control procedures and identifying any areas for improvement. Non-Conformance Investigations: Assist in investigating non-conformance issues, identifying root causes, and supporting corrective actions to resolve quality concerns. Product and Process Deviations: Coordinate and manage product and process deviations, ensuring proper documentation and corrective measures are taken. Process Improvement: Support process investigations and contribute to identifying areas for improvement. Assist in making recommendations to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain product quality. Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of inspections, audits, and investigations. Prepare reports for management and participate in discussions about continuous improvement. Key
Requirements:
A degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Control, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.) or similar qualification. Some experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment is preferred, though recent graduates are also encouraged to apply. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or issues in materials and processes. Good written and verbal communication skills to document findings and report issues. Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a proactive attitude and problem-solving skills. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A basic understanding of production processes and quality control principles is advantageous. Additional Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies would be a plus. Familiarity with quality control systems and inspection tools is beneficial. Understanding of industry regulations and standards in manufacturing is an advantage. Personal Attributes: Proactive and eager to learn, with an interest in process and quality improvement. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Detail-oriented, ensuring high standards of quality are maintained throughout. Enthusiastic about contributing to a team and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
