About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, providing strategic financial leadership and expertise to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close, balance sheet integrity, and financial reporting in compliance with IFRS
- Develop and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis
- Provide commercial insights to operations, projects, and leadership teams to support investment decisions
- Lead and strengthen financial controls, compliance frameworks, tax submissions, and audit processes
- Support strategic initiatives such as project finance, capex reviews, feasibility assessments, and scenario modelling
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years post-article experience
- Exposure to Energy, Utilities, Renewables, Engineering, or Projects highly advantageous
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and modern ERP/BI systems
- Strong technical grounding in IFRS, reporting, and financial governance
- Ability to analyse complex data and present actionable commercial insights

- CA(SA) qualification (SAICA)
